Narrative
The story of three young girls trying to stay together while trapped in a sea cave filled with crashing waves, hundreds of sea lions, and monstrous elephant seals. I was surprised at how good this film was.
Even the nature scenes looked like they came from National Geographic
My whole family, including my wife, my two 8-year-old daughters, and my 6-year-old son, were completely captivated by this film. I noticed early on that the camera work and sound work seemed very creative.
I thought all three young actresses did a phenomenal job
There were moments when I laughed, and moments when I cried. He was rightfully shocked to find out at the end that it was a family production.
A touching family story with style
I think it was much better than some (most) of the professional productions I’ve seen lately. I don’t really understand some of these negative reviews – they read like they were written by very unhappy and negative people.
We liked it overall
The film was a bit long, but my kids were interested the whole time, and that’s saying something.
